Outreach Athletic Trainer - Johnson C. Smith University

The outreach athletic trainer is responsible for the day-To-Day medical coverage in collegiate or professional sports settings, including injury prevention, immediate care, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation under physician supervision. Major duties involve providing acute medical care during practices and events, maintaining detailed records, ensuring emergency preparedness, and collaborating with the sports medicine team.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in athletic training from a caate program is required, along with current boc certification and eligibility for state licensure within 30 days of hire. Candidates must possess excellent leadership, decision-Making, and communication skills, with preferred experience as a boc certified athletic trainer.
