Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Direct support professionals provide hands-On, person-Centered individualized care and support, including supervision, to adults with autism and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily living activities, job coaching, role modeling, and implementing behavioral interventions when necessary.

A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is required, along with a high school diploma and proficiency in english reading, writing, and speaking. Candidates must also possess a valid driver's license for at least three years and be able to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds.
