Speech Language Pathologist

The primary role involves delivering speech therapy services as mandated by student individualized education programs (Ieps), which includes developing appropriate goals based on assessments and participating in iep meetings. Essential duties also cover maintaining records, operating clinical equipment, consulting with staff and parents, and documenting direct/Consult therapy minutes.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech/Language pathology, a valid professional educator license with a speech-Language pathology endorsement, and asha certificate of clinical competence. Appropriate speech-Language pathology licensure in illinois is also required, with previous experience working with special needs/Autism students being preferred.
