Core responsibilities
The teacher is responsible for direct supervision and daily instruction of students with autism and other intellectual disabilities, developing weekly lesson plans aligned with the general education curriculum and student ieps. Duties also include developing re-Evaluations, monitoring goals, preparing progress reports, and participating in community-Based instruction and field trips.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in exceptional/Special education or a field meeting requirements for an lbs1 endorsement is required for this role. Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or in a special education cooperative/Intensive district program is preferred.
