Swim Instructor

The swim instructor is responsible for providing swim lessons, both private and group, to participants of all levels according to ymca standards, ensuring the safety of all participants during class time. This role also involves instructing, evaluating students, submitting required documentation like report cards and attendance, and maintaining professional standards.

Candidates must successfully pass background screening and possess proficiency in swimming strokes with the ability to instruct and demonstrate them effectively. Essential requirements include holding current cpr/First aid/Aed certifications, possessing wsi or ymca swim instructor certification, and demonstrating high energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift equipment and small children.
