Swim Instructor II

The swim instructor will deliver direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in swim classes while maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere under the direction of aquatic leadership. Essential functions include completing all necessary paperwork, ensuring equipment is ready before and after class, and providing exceptional instruction in the water.

Candidates must demonstrate swim instructor skills according to ymca standards and possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. A minimum of 16 years of age, 3+ months of aquatic teaching experience, and a current nationally recognized swim instructor certification are required.
