Teachers Aide

The teacher's aide assists the lead and assistant teachers in daily classroom and playground operations, implementing a developmentally appropriate program while ensuring a high quality of education and care for students, including floating to provide coverage as needed. Essential functions involve supervising children, implementing curriculum, maintaining a safe environment, interacting with children, and providing support across various site functions like kitchen, classroom, and office tasks.

Candidates must possess knowledge of infant, toddler, and preschool development, early childhood education, and relevant learning standards, ideally with current college coursework and a minimum of six months of experience working with young children. Personal qualifications require emotional maturity, flexibility, patience, good hygiene, and the ability to read and follow directions professionally with children and adults of all socioeconomic levels.
