Teachers Aide

The aide assists the lead and assistant teachers in daily classroom and playground operations, implementing a developmentally appropriate program while ensuring a high quality of education and care for students, including floating to provide coverage as needed. Essential functions involve supervising children, implementing curriculum, maintaining a safe environment, interacting with children, and providing support across various site functions like kitchen or office tasks.

Candidates must possess knowledge of infant, toddler, and preschool development, early childhood education, and relevant state standards, ideally holding current college-Level coursework, though only a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 6 months working with young children is strongly preferred, along with emotional maturity, flexibility, patience, and the ability to follow directions without constant supervision.
