Early Head Start Teacher

The early head start teacher provides responsive care and effective teaching for children aged 0-36 months, promoting health development and skill growth aligned with the head start early learning outcomes framework. Responsibilities include establishing daily routines, implementing curriculum tools like creative curriculum, maintaining accurate documentation, and conducting developmental assessments.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a child development associate (Cda) credential or comparable credential, along with training or equivalent coursework focused on infant and toddler development. Additional requirements include completing 45 hours of dcf training, effective oral and written communication skills, intermediate computer proficiency, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/Sit for extended periods.
