Early childhood teacher assistant

The primary duty is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, guiding their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through implementing a curriculum based on creative curriculum and naeyc guidelines. Responsibilities include frequent, affectionate interaction with children, enhancing play, modeling social behavior, and practicing positive discipline techniques.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged equivalent, along with excellent communication skills. The role requires adherence to specific guidelines from creative curriculum, naeyc, and the illinois department of children and family services.
