Core responsibilities
The mental health therapist provides therapeutic intervention to individual youth, families, and groups, conducting clinical evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning for a caseload of 19-21 clients. Duties also include leading psycho-Educational groups, providing crisis intervention, consulting with various stakeholders, and attending relevant school and parent meetings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy, along with current maryland licensure as an lmsw, lcsw-C, lgpc, lcpc, lgmft, lcmft, or psych associate. Knowledge of evidence-Based treatment models is required, and bilingual english/Spanish proficiency is preferred.
