Camp Counselor - Hickory

The camp counselor is directly responsible for the safety, supervision, leadership, and guidance for a group of campers while building a positive environment. Responsibilities include executing lesson plans, ensuring area cleanliness, managing behavior, and assisting with swim time and teen camper guidance when applicable.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old (18 for licensed programs) and possess experience and training relevant to camp programs, showing emotional maturity and leadership capability. Required qualifications include cpr, first aid, blood borne pathogens certification, bsac training, and ymca child abuse training.
