Camp Counselor - Hickory

The camp counselor is directly responsible for the safety, supervision, leadership, and guidance of a group of campers under the direction of the senior youth development director. Key duties include building a positive environment, ensuring area cleanliness, executing lesson plans, and managing camper behavior according to policy.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old (18 for licensed programs) and possess experience and training relevant to camp programs, along with emotional maturity and leadership capability. Required certifications include cpr, first aid, blood borne pathogens, bsac training, and ymca child abuse training.
