PT Spine Fellowship, SMR (August 2026)

The fellow will participate in all aspects of the division 1 sports physical therapy fellowship program, including clinical practice, didactic training, and mentoring sessions, while assuming responsibility for comprehensive patient care from evaluation through treatment implementation and monitoring progress. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, effective communication with patients and colleagues, and adherence to safety policies while potentially providing treatment across various departmental settings.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or graduate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and hold a current or temporary license from the texas board of physical therapy examiners or the physical therapy compact commission, along with basic life support certification. Additional requirements involve completing post-Graduate education criteria, such as graduating from an abptrfe accredited residency or achieving abpts board certification in relevant specialties, and possessing physical capabilities for patient handling.
