Core responsibilities
The disability coordinator plans, organizes, and implements the center disability student program, managing cases for all cognitive disabilities through folder review, team collaboration, and developing academic and career technical training plans. This role also involves training staff on learning support, assessing students' needs for the job corps program, and coordinating pre-Arrival logistics and vocational assessments.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in a related field and two to three years of related work experience are preferred, along with preferred state teaching certification or special education licensure. Candidates must pass a drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check, and a valid driver's license is preferred.
