Recreation Assistant

The recreation assistant is responsible for organizing and directing trainees in leisure-Time recreation and non-Vocational activities, including assisting with center trips and events. This role also involves supporting water safety programming and mentoring students in the recreation aide program to establish life skills.

Candidates must possess an associate of arts degree or one year of related experience working with youth, with preference given to experience in recreation or non-Vocational programs. A valid driver's license, the ability to pass a drug screen, and successful completion of a criminal background check are mandatory.
