Core responsibilities
The substitute teacher will step into various mixed-Age montessori classrooms (Ages 0-6) as needed to support children, maintain consistency, and assist with daily routines and activities. Responsibilities include helping to create a warm, safe, and engaging environment while collaborating with staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor with a strong passion for working with young children, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum requirements include a negative tb test within the last 12 months and a valid state background check; formal montessori training is not required as training will be provided.
