Teacher Assistant

The teacher assistant will partner closely with lead teachers to implement individualized educational plans (Ieps), providing hands-On assistance with personal care and managing behavioral crises to ensure a safe learning environment. Responsibilities also include using positive behavior support strategies to enhance student communication and independence, alongside thorough documentation of progress.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and a valid u.s. Driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience. Essential personal attributes include empathy, patience, and compassion, with prior experience supporting children with special needs being preferred but not mandatory.
