Sports Camp Counselor

The sports camp counselor supports the sports camp director by delivering a safe, structured, and fun indoor summer sports camp experience, actively leading games, drills, and recreational activities to promote physical wellness and social-Emotional growth in campers. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive presence, modeling appropriate behavior, ensuring safety protocols are followed, supporting daily camp routines, and assisting with program operations and record keeping.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, with preferred coursework in recreation or youth development, and prior experience working with youth in sports or camp settings is preferred. Essential qualifications include the ability to engage youth, manage group behavior positively, follow directions consistently, demonstrate reliability, and maintain a high-Energy presence while working with diverse groups.
