$42,000 - $47,000 (based on education and experience) Key Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions, providing guidance and support to employees. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws. Create and distribute weekly newsletters and related correspondences. Process payroll-related documentation and assist in resolving payroll discrepancies. Complete employer verifications, fee remission requests and other administrative duties. Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts. Coordinate running and distribution of HR reports. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork, and exit interviews. Manage the workers compensation claims process. Coordinate employee celebration and engagement events. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Assist with special HR projects and other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in HR software (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
