Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities include consulting and collaborating with school staff and families regarding student educational deficits, conducting initial screenings, and participating in the individualized education program (Iep) process. The role also requires providing special education sessions based on iep prescriptions and maintaining all required district documentation.

Candidates must hold a current license to practice in the state of employment and demonstrate successful experience working with culturally diverse families. The role assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
